Child Socio-Emotional Development Post-Pandemic (Strategies for Teachers and Parents in Reducing Children's Anxiety)

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the social-emotional development of young children. Social isolation, distance learning, and family stress triggered anxiety in children. These conditions are seen through behaviors such as separation anxiety, withdrawal, tantrums, and difficulty in social interaction when returning to school. This study aims to analyze children's social-emotional development post-pandemic as well as the strategies of teachers and parents in reducing children's anxiety. The study uses a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data were obtained from relevant journals, books, and scientific articles. The results of the study show that teachers play an important role through social-emotional learning, trauma-sensitive approaches, and play activities. Parents play a role through emotion coaching, the formation of consistent routines, and strengthening emotional closeness with children. This research emphasizes that cooperation between schools and families is absolutely necessary to support children's socio-emotional recovery post-pandemic
